Obtained bachelor’s degree in dentistry from Thai Moogambigai Dental College, Chennai. His untoward passion and love towards oral and maxillofacial surgery made him secure first mark in oral and maxillofacial surgery in his undergraduate exam. He received ‘Kamarajar Award” from Dr. MGR university for his all round academic excellence.

Following which Dr. Muthu Kumar completed his Post graduation in Oral and maxillofacial surgery from SRM dental college, Chennai.
Currently he is associated with a healthcare 3D printing company.
Well trained and specialist in minor oral surgery, facial trauma surgery and 3D facial reconstruction. He is also a visiting consultant in many esteemed hospitals in Chennai and South TN.
